Prior work

Prior to this venture, Khitchdee was a deep technology development venture related to personalised gadget production technology (2005-2016) and before that a domain-specialised technology development venture related to digital music (1999-2005).

Between 2005-2016, Khitchdee was a technology development company that explored the design of personalised gadgets.

It explored the design of a developer-tool to produce GDSII layouts for an ASIC. The input to this tool was a personalised user-agent that implemented all the software functions needed by a specific user, such as web-browsing, email, text-editing, specialised enterprise apps etc. This ASIC would serve as a basis for a personalised gadget that implemented only that user's user-agent. Such a gadget is secure and private, because it's software is hard-coded into an ASIC. It is also a lot cheaper, energy-efficient and can be produced on older semiconductor fabrication nodes, such as a 40nm node.

Between 1999-2005, Khitchdee was a domain exploration company that explored software applications relating to digital music.

It explored the design of algorithms for analysing digitised sound-streams with the intent of producing a music-teaching software application. It did a lot of research on sound recording techniques, synthesis algorithms and digital audio systems software, specially for PC-based platforms.
